Golftreks.com (“Golftreks”, “we”, “our” or “us”) is a global golf travel discovery platform featuring golf courses, golf resorts, accommodation providers, travel packages, tour operators, destinations, attractions and other golf and tourism-related businesses.

We use photographs, logos and other visual material throughout Golftreks to help travellers discover golf destinations, courses, resorts, travel experiences and tourism businesses around the world.

Sources of Images

Images displayed on Golftreks may be supplied to us by a range of tourism and travel industry participants, including:

* Golf courses and golf clubs
* Golf resorts and hotels
* Golf tour operators and travel suppliers
* Travel agents and travel centres
* Destination management companies
* Tourism boards and tourism authorities
* Convention and visitor bureaus
* Marketing organisations
* Property owners and accommodation providers
* Public relations and media representatives
* Other authorised tourism and golf industry partners

Images may also be supplied as part of listing information, promotional material, media kits, destination information, product feeds or other marketing resources provided to Golftreks.

Where images are supplied to Golftreks by a supplier, operator, tourism organisation or other third party, Golftreks uses those images on the reasonable understanding that the supplying party has the authority or appropriate rights to provide those images for promotional and marketing purposes.

Supplier Responsibility

By providing or submitting images to Golftreks, the supplier, operator, tourism organisation or other contributor confirms that, to the best of their knowledge, they have the necessary ownership, permission, licence or authority to allow Golftreks to display those images in connection with the relevant listing, destination, product or service.

Suppliers should not submit images to Golftreks that they do not own or have permission to use.

How Images May Be Used

Images supplied to GolfTreks may be displayed in connection with the relevant business, property, course, destination or travel product, including on:

* Listing pages
* Destination pages
* Search results
* Golf travel package pages
* Blog and editorial content
* Promotional pages
* Email marketing
* Social media
* GolfTreks advertising and promotional material

Images are generally used for the purpose of promoting the relevant golf, travel or tourism product and helping users understand and discover the destination or service being featured.

Golftreks does not claim ownership of third-party photographs, logos or other visual material unless specifically stated.

Unclaimed and Directory Listings

Golftreks may create directory listings for golf courses, resorts, operators, attractions, restaurants and other tourism-related businesses before those listings have been formally claimed by the business.

Where imagery is available through authorised industry sources, tourism organisations, suppliers, marketing partners or other sources that Golftreks reasonably believes permit promotional use, such imagery may be displayed with these listings.

Businesses are encouraged to claim their Golftreks listing and provide their preferred photographs, logos, descriptions and other information.

Once a listing is claimed, the authorised listing owner may request that existing images be replaced with approved imagery supplied directly by them.

Images Added in Error

Golftreks makes reasonable efforts to use images appropriately and in accordance with permissions provided to us.

However, due to the large number of listings, suppliers, tourism organisations and other sources contributing information to the platform, an image may occasionally be supplied, attributed or displayed in error.

If you believe that an image displayed on Golftreks:

* Belongs to you or your organisation;
* Has been used without appropriate permission;
* Has been incorrectly attributed;
* Relates to the wrong property, course, destination or business; or
* Should otherwise be removed or replaced, please contact Golftreks.

We are happy to investigate legitimate requests and, where appropriate, remove, replace or correct the image.

Copyright Removal Requests

If you are the copyright owner, photographer, authorised representative or other rights holder and believe that an image on Golftreks has been used without appropriate authority, please contact us with:

* Your name and contact information;
* The URL of the Golftreks page containing the image;
* A description or screenshot identifying the relevant image;
* Details explaining your ownership or authority regarding the image; and
* Whether you are requesting removal, replacement, attribution or another correction.

Golftreks will review reasonable requests and take appropriate action where necessary.

Our intention is to resolve genuine image ownership concerns quickly and cooperatively.

No Intentional Copyright Infringement

Golftreks respects photographers, content creators, tourism organisations, businesses and intellectual property owners.

We do not intentionally use copyrighted imagery without appropriate authority.

Where imagery has been supplied to Golftreks by a supplier, operator, tourism organisation or other third party, we rely on the representation that the supplying party is authorised to provide that material.

If an image has been supplied or published incorrectly, please contact us so that the matter can be investigated and corrected.

Logos and Trademarks

Business names, logos and trademarks displayed on Golftreks remain the property of their respective owners.

Their appearance on Golftreks is generally for identification, directory, informational or promotional purposes and does not imply ownership by Golftreks.

Unless otherwise stated, the inclusion of a business, logo or trademark on Golftreks does not necessarily imply endorsement, sponsorship or a formal commercial relationship between Golftreks and that organisation.

Changes to Images

Golftreks may resize, crop, compress or otherwise technically format supplied images where necessary for website display, mobile responsiveness, search results, advertising placements or other promotional formats.

We will not intentionally materially alter an image in a manner that misrepresents the business, destination, product or service depicted.
