Golf Holidays In Sunshine Coast
The Sunshine Coast is a relaxed coastal golf destination known for beautiful beaches, resort towns, championship courses and spectacular hinterland scenery. From Noosa in the north to Caloundra in the south, golfers can enjoy a diverse selection of courses surrounded by lakes, bushland and tropical landscapes.
Popular golf options include Twin Waters, Pelican Waters, Noosa Springs and Maroochy River, with many courses located close to quality accommodation, restaurants and beaches. The region is particularly well suited to golf holidays where players want to combine several rounds with a slower-paced coastal escape.
Away from golf, visitors can explore Noosa National Park, swim and surf at Mooloolaba or Coolum, visit Australia Zoo, cruise the Noosa River or explore the Glass House Mountains and Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Montville and Maleny are popular stops for cafés, galleries, local produce and mountain views.
The Sunshine Coast enjoys a subtropical climate with warm temperatures throughout much of the year. Winters are mild and generally dry, making them ideal for golf, while spring and autumn offer warm days and comfortable conditions. Summers are hotter and more humid, although morning golf remains popular before the afternoon heat.
